Christmas

Christmas has come and gone. Well, three of our four Christmases. We still have Christmas at my moms l eft. Yay! Adam, Abby and I enjoyed a quiet little Christmas morning opening presents. Abby got the hang of unwrapping presents in no time, and instantly fell in love with each thing. She didn't eant to move onto the next gift! I asked Adam for one of those "I'm not a paper cups". He decided to be funny and individually wrap 16 paper cups! And te of what I asked for...hehe! Silly guy. Also got an iPad and photos of abby developed. The in laws came over and there was even more gifts. Later e had low county boil with the in laws and my dad and grandma.

When Abby woke up, the fence around the tree was gone, so she ran up to finally get to touch the ornaments, even if that meant stepping on the presents!

Eventually she moved onto the presents...

My 16paper cups...

Lots of presents!

Today, we had Christmas ate papas with great grandma.

Abby got a huge snowman that she loved.

She even wanted it to ride in the backseat with her on the way home! On her lap!

We are excited for our next Christmas and feel so fortunate to have such wonderful family. Merry Christmas

Abbys Christmas cards

We decided to make Christmas cards for the family. Abby used puffy stickers and markers. Simple but fun :)

Tada! Quick fun project. I hope it makes lots of refrigerators happy.

Hatting around....

Abby was enjoying herself The other day in her own little hat fashion show...

She's so fashion forward...

Monday morning crafts

I love Monday mornings. It's our stay at home morning. I get stuff ready for Abby on Sunday night and she always has exciting stuff to do while I get the housework started.

Starting with a Christmas coloring page

We moved on to making a winter scene with puffy stickers I got from Michaels on clearance...

We also made a Santa hat and Abby glued the cotton balls on the trim. I thought these were good fine motor and sensory activities and Abby enjoyed them and it held her attention for a while!
Abby did rip the hat off the penguin sticker and put it on her head LOL

Tad a!

It's been chilly but at least today was sunny and we were able to go for a walk..

Not sure what we are going to get to the rest of the week bc we have some more Christmas shopping to do....

Peppermints

Another sick day for us. Abby is in great spirits but she had a rough night do we stayed in all day. The plan was to watch Finding Nemo but she got scared of the shark. So we did a lot of playing and a craft.
We made peppermints : )
I wanted to use a salad spinner and paint to put the red on, but we have no salad spinner....or paint. So it was crayons and markers for us. I did the red and Abby added her flair to it.

Then I cut out the edges, and we pretended they were necklaces and she loved that, then I attached paper to the sides and put on some ribbon to attach them together...

Still sick and fsu basketball

So we didn't make it out again during the day bc Abby is still dealing with a runny nose. I did decide to give her one of her Christmas presents early since we were bored to tears.

I think she liked it.

We finally couldn't take it anymore, and Adam dropped us off at the door of the FSU women's basketball game.

That was Abby about a year ago at a womens game, and here she is now :

Even Santa seemed to want to see the game

And last, a sneak peek at the themes I'm working on for next year. I have 34 of the 52 weeks themes already. Still trying to think of more.

Anyhoo that's all for now.

Sick day

Well Abby was a little under the weather the past couple days. Nothing serious, but we stayed in a lot.
I tried to print out some coloring pages she would like

But she was more interested in her milk.
Later, I printed out some images and made a matching game and was SO proud if Abby bc she got ALL of them with no trouble!

We've been doing our share of Christmas light looking, and even drove by the Capitol to see it decorated. Can't really see it in the pic, but it's got some decorations up :)

Library tomorrow! We are going to stock up on one last set of Christmas books.

Trying pictures and an entry

So I didn't really feel well today and I denote think Abby did either, but since Daddy was home we went to the park and had a picnic. Abby loves climbing! Even if mommy and daddy don't really

"fit" in the playground to chase her!

But we had fun anyway :)

So I'm making my post from our new iPad. So far I love it! I'm going to work very hard on blogging our days, not really for anyone but for us. Hopefully some will follow. Going to attempt a picture....
